Meet Chris Biviens

After a decade spent perfecting my craft within the most prestigious tailoring houses of Philadelphia and New York, I founded Atelier Hudson Tailoring. I believe that style is a reflection of the soul, and your clothing should always amplify, never overshadow, your presence. My professional path has been defined by high-level milestones: during my time at Boyds, my work was recognized in Forbes, and my tenure at Paul Stuart was honored with a mention in The New York Times. While serving as the USA Sales Director for Selected Homme, I mastered the intricacies of the global garment industry, yet my heart always remained in the personal, tactile world of bespoke craftsmanship. These accolades were not just career markers; they were the catalysts that fueled my passion to create a more intimate, client-focused experience. To me, you are far more than a client—you are a creative partner. In this atelier, we do not simply produce garments; we build connections that ensure every stitch serves as a seamless extension of your values and ambitions. Custom tailoring is a collaborative journey that begins long before we choose a fabric. I seek to understand your voice and your vision. Every design detail, from the soft roll of a lapel to the placement of a pocket, is a purposeful tribute to your personal narrative. At Atelier Hudson Tailoring, we craft wearable legacies for your most significant moments, offering a level of devotion that goes beyond traditional service to provide a partnership rooted in intuition, mastery, and elegance.

Meet Felix (Andy) Garo

My path to custom tailoring began outside the traditional world of fashion. With a background in Material Science and Engineering from Penn State University and more than a decade of experience in custom furniture, I have always been drawn to the relationship between precision, design, and craftsmanship.
Working in custom furniture taught me that the most meaningful work begins with the individual. Every project required listening carefully to a client's needs, translating their ideas into design decisions, coordinating skilled craftsmen, and paying close attention to the details that bring a finished piece together.
Along the way, I also developed an interest in programming and web development, building projects that strengthened my problem-solving skills and taught me to approach complex challenges from a different perspective. While technology gave me a new appreciation for creating in the digital world, I found myself increasingly drawn back toward something more tangible—the craftsmanship of creating something specifically for an individual.
That led me to custom tailoring. Like custom furniture, a suit is not simply selected from a catalog. It is shaped around the individual, with every proportion, material, and design detail contributing to the finished result.
Building Atelier Hudson with Chris Biviens allows me to bring these experiences together. His depth of knowledge within the tailoring industry and my background in engineering, custom craftsmanship, and technology give us complementary perspectives on what a truly personal experience can be.
For me, custom tailoring is about more than making something that fits. It is about understanding the person first, then creating something that reflects them in every detail.
"Atelier Hudson is where craftsmanship meets individuality—and where every garment begins with you."
